BROOKFIELD AND SOUTHBURY CT — Beth Agen of Danbury, CT has been appointed as Multi-Site Manager for Urgent Care of Connecticut. Ms. Agen will be responsible for daily operations at both Urgent Care of Southbury and Urgent Care of Brookfield medical treatment facilities.
"Beth comes to Urgent Care from a senior leadership position at Newtown Youth and Family Services and has years of experience managing personnel, volunteers, and data for a myraid of social services programs. We are thrilled to have her on our team," said Linda Rohatsch, executive director for WRK Ventures, LLC, the founding company for Urgent Care of Connecticut. WRK Ventures LLC was established in 2008 by three physicians; Jeannie M. Kenkare, D.O., who serves as the Chief Medical Officer, R. Robert Rohatsch, M.D. and Bernd G. Woerner, M.D.
Prior to her position at Newtown Youth and Family Services, Ms. Agen previously held the positions of Director of Human Resources and Manager of Community Relations for Family & Children's Aid in Danbury. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communications from St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin and is currently in the process of earning a Masters in Business Administration online with Liberty University.
In her spare time, Beth likes to hang out with her husband Brian and their five dogs: Libby, Max, Pork Chop, Hope and D'Argo.
Urgent Care of Connecticut was established in 2008 by business partners Jeannie M. Kenkare, D.O., R. Robert Rohatsch, M.D. and Bernd G. Woerner, M.D. The three board-certified physicians wanted to provide quality, convenient and timely medical care to local communities while easing volume in emergency rooms for non-life and non-limb threatening medical conditions. Urgent Care of Connecticut offers walk-in treatment for influenza, respiratory infections, strep throat, open wounds, broken bones, poison ivy, urinary tract infections, Lyme disease and more. Services also include vaccinations, X-Rays, blood and urine tests, EKG’s, pre-operation evaluations, physical exams, and IV fluid/medication. Urgent Care of Connecticut can dispense commonly prescribed medications at all locations.
In addition, Urgent Care of Connecticut partners with area businesses to provide employment physicals, tuberculosis testing, adult immunizations, occupational health needs, worker’s compensation care and injury management. Most major insurances are accepted.
The locations in Southbury, Brookfield, Norwalk, and Ridgefield are open 365 days a year from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
