Dr. Steven G. Berger has three decades of hospital emergency room experience. For his undergraduate studies, he earned a B.A. degree from State University of New York at Binghamton. He then attended medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Mexico and completed his M.D. education at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Berger received his internship and residency training from The Norwalk Hospital-Yale University Residency Training Program in Internal Medicine.
He has been an emergency department physician for New Rochelle Hospital in New York, St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, and for the past 20 years at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Berger is fluent in Spanish and has professional memberships with American College of Emergency Physicians and Connecticut College of Emergency Physicians.
