Urgent Care Staff Bios
KILBOURN "SANDY" GORDON III, MD
An Urgent Care physician since 2006, Dr. Gordon founded Fairfield Urgent Care, which is owned by Bridgeport Hospital, and serves as Medical Director there. He was a staff physician for Primary Medical in Norwalk, Huntington Walk-In in Shelton, and Greenwich Convenient Medical Care Center.
Dr. Gordon earned a BA in psychology from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and attended University of Vermont in Burlington for post-graduate medical studies. He received an MD from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Gordon completed residencies at Worcester City Hospital in Emergency Medicine and University of California, Irvine in Ophthalmology.
While at University of California, Dr. Gordon was a founder of the Emergency Medicine residency and was a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Clinical Professor for the Division of Emergency Medicine. He also operated a private ophthalmology practice in Newport Beach.
He is certified on the National Board of Medical Examiners and American Board of Emergency Medicine.
