Dr. Monte Marder is board certified in Family Medicine. He earned a BS degree from Monmouth College in West Long Branch, NJ and MD from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He interned in Internal Medicine at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, NJ and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Mid- Hudson Family Residency Program in Kingston, NY.
Early in his career, Dr. Marder was a USAF Flight Surgeon for USAF Hospital Hellenikon in Athens, Greece. After serving as an Emergency Room Physician for Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY and Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington, MA, Dr. Marder had his own private practice in Millbrook, NY and was active on staff at Sharon Hospital in Connecticut.
In addition, Dr. Marder has years of experience as a medical consultant for Daytop Village, a drug rehabilitation center for teens, in Millbrook, NY. He has also been a medical consultant for Brookfield Health and Injury Center and an Urgent Care physician at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
