Marcey Tweedie

Marcey Tweedie is Director of Marketing & Public Relations for Urgent Care of Connecticut. She is the primary contact for marketing communications, advertising, media planning, public relations and special events.
With over 25 years of professional experience in writing, advertising, and marketing communications, Marcey comes to Urgent Care of Connecticut from Maitland Publishing, where she provided advertising, writing, and editorial support for the Heritage Villager in Southbury. Her experience also includes corporate communications and marketing for Connecticut Mutual, General Electric and several advertising agencies.
Ms. Tweedie earned a B.A. in Mass Communications with Dean's List honors from the University of Hartford. She has volunteered her time for Region 15 Schools as a writing coach and mentor for students. Her interests include music, hiking, fitness walking, reading, the arts, and interior decorating. She loves family vacations to Cape Cod with her husband and two daughters.
