Dr. Lisa M.Vieira
Medical Director - Urgent Care of Southbury
Dr. Lisa M.Vieira is board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American College of Emergency Physicians. She graduated from New York Medical College and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Connecticut. Since finishing her training, Dr. Vieira has been on staff at John Dempsey Hospital at the University of Connecticut Health Center. In addition, she has been an Emergency Medicine attending for St. Mary's Hospital and Waterbury Hospital for the past 12 years.
Dr. Vieira is an assistant medical examiner for the state of Connecticut and a Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She is also employed by Lime Rock Park Race Track as their track physician.
Dr. Vieira has lived in Southbury for many years with her husband and two teenage children. Her interests include travel, physical fitness and music.
