Beth Agen is the Chief Performance Officer for Zucyla Enterprises, LLC. Ms. Agen is responsible for reporting on, evaluating and recommending changes to daily operations at all treatment facilities. Using a variety of metrics and performance quality improvement tools, Ms. Agen gathers data on business operations and assesses performance against strategic goals and industry benchmarks. She was the Executive Director of Newtown Youth and Family Services, where she gained years of experience managing personnel, volunteers, and data for a myriad of social services programs. Prior to NYFS, Ms. Agen held the position of Director of Human Resources and Manager of Community Relations for Family & Children's Aid in Danbury. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communications from St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership from Liberty University. Ms. Agen will begin work on her PhD in Organizational Behavior in 2012. Her planned area of research is creating a performance evaluation model by combining Results Based Accountability with Appreciative Inquiry to create an organizational development program she has termed "Affirmative Reality." In her free time, Ms. Agen likes to hang out with her five dogs, Libby, Max, Pork Chop, Hope and D'Argo, and her husband "The Brian."
